Re-allowing tool permissions
If a run stalls partway, a tool permission is usually the reason. The fix is to set every APiM Galaxy tool to Allow.
- 1
Set every tool to Allow
Open the APiM Galaxy connector — from the message-box + → Add connector list, or the Customize → Connectors sidebar — and set every tool to Allow, not just some. Claude picks which tools to call for each question, and all ten are read-only or only touch your own data, so leaving even one on "Ask" is what stalls a multi-step run.

Re-check after any reconnect
claude.ai resets these permissions to "Ask" whenever you reconnect. So any time you reconnect the connector, come back here and set them all to Allow again.
This is the same "every tool" gotcha from Connect in Claude, step 3 — this article is the deep dive. If a run ever stops halfway, check here first.
