Connect in Claude

Add APiM Galaxy to Claude once, and you can ask about any company right in your chat — Claude reads real sources and checks each relationship as it answers.

Works on every Claude plan — Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. The flow is identical whether you're on claude.ai or the Claude desktop app.

  1. 1

In the chat message box, click the + → Add connector → Add custom connector, paste https://galaxy.apieceofmap.com/mcp, then click Add — Claude opens a one-time sign-in (Google or email). Sign in once. (The + is in the message composer, not under Settings; a Customize → Connectors sidebar route reaches the same place.)

  2. 2

On Team or Enterprise: an Owner adds the connector once for the organization, then each member opens the + → Add connector list (or Customize → Connectors) and clicks Connect next to APiM Galaxy (labeled “Custom”) to sign in. The org Directory only registers it — the Connect button lives in your own Connectors list.

  3. 3

Open the APiM Galaxy connector (from the + → Add connector list, or Customize → Connectors) and set every tool to Allow. claude.ai resets these to “Ask” whenever you reconnect, which can stall a multi-step run mid-way — re-check after any reconnect.

  4. 4

Start a chat and ask about any company. (Claude Free can add one custom connector — enough to run this.)

Set every tool to Allow, not just some. Claude decides which tools to call for each question and often chains six to eight of them; all ten are read-only or only touch your own profile and reports — nothing destructive — so allowing them all adds no risk. But leave even one on "Ask" and the pop-up can stall a run halfway. And because claude.ai resets them to "Ask" after any reconnect, re-check them then.
