Terms of Service / 이용약관

Welcome to APiM Galaxy. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and A Piece of Map Inc. ("we," "us," "our") and govern your use of the APiM Galaxy connector, the galaxy.apieceofmap.com website, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

APiM Galaxy is a remote connector (an MCP server) that you add to an AI assistant you already use — such as Claude or ChatGPT — to run sourced business-development research inside that assistant. Focused on the geospatial, mobility and software industries, it:

  • maps who a company works with, and which organisations sit between you and a target;
  • checks each relationship against a cited public source and marks ties it cannot confirm;
  • suggests how to approach a target — which route, in what order, and what to lead with — and ranks which targets to go after first; and
  • for Pro subscribers, remembers your saved profile — the company you sell for, what you are trying to sell, and who you have sold to — so that answers do not start from zero, and turns them into branded reports with one-click PDFs.

The AI assistant you connect does the reasoning and writes the output, on your own AI account. Our tools are deterministic: they verify, rank, map, and check figures. We may change or discontinue parts of the Service; for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.

2. Plans

PlanAccess
FreeRegistered account. The full connector, running on your own AI — unlimited.
ProPaid subscription (monthly, 6-month, or annual), with a 14-day free trial. Adds a saved profile, deeper industry insight, and a branded report with your logo and PDF.
EnterpriseCustom contract. A dedicated, private build with your company's own knowledge inside, and a dedicated space for your team.

A registered account is required; there is no anonymous tier. You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction and able to form a binding contract.

The 14-day free trial is offered once per account. If you delete your account and register again with the same email address, the trial will not be offered again.

Enterprise and one-time professional services. Separately from any subscription, we may provide one-time B2B professional services under a contract, billed by invoice. Because delivery is bespoke, fees for these are non-refundable once the project has commenced (Refund Policy §2). This does not limit your mandatory rights as a consumer.

3. Your account

You may sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.

You may delete your account at any time in Account settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you have a subscription with a future charge, cancel it first — we do not delete an account that could still be billed. Once the account is gone, we can no longer see the subscription, and you can no longer sign in to cancel it.

We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law.

4. Subscriptions and payment

4.1 Paddle is our Merchant of Record. Paid subscriptions and invoices are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller. Your purchase is a sale between you and Paddle, and a supply between Paddle and us. Paddle's Terms and Privacy Policy also apply. As Merchant of Record, Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes, issues receipts, and handles chargebacks.

4.2 Card data. Card details go from your browser directly to Paddle's checkout and never reach our servers.

4.3 Prices, renewal and cancellation. Prices are shown in USD and may be converted at checkout; tax may be added based on your location. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective from your next billing cycle.

4.4 The free trial. Pro includes a 14-day free trial. You are not charged until it ends, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. It is offered once per account (§2).

4.5 What the end of your Pro access destroys. While you have Pro access, the branded reports you generate and the profile you save are stored to your account. When your Pro access ends — whether your subscription ends by cancellation or expiry, or a complimentary Pro grant expires — your saved reports, your saved profile, and the brand logo you uploaded are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone. Any PDF you downloaded before then is your own copy; we do not recall or delete files already on your device. Download anything you want to keep before your Pro access ends.

4.6 If a payment fails. We do not delete anything immediately. When a payment fails, our payment provider automatically retries it over a recovery period. Throughout that period your saved reports and saved profile are kept, so that you do not lose your work over a card that simply needs updating — updating your card restores full access at any time. If every retry fails, your subscription ends and your saved reports, saved profile, and uploaded brand logo are permanently deleted (§4.5). Until a payment succeeds, your paid features may be unavailable.

5. AI-generated content

The Service uses artificial intelligence — including the AI assistant you connect and third-party AI models — to produce relationship maps, rankings, suggested approach routes and research outputs. Because the reasoning runs on your own assistant, outputs vary with the assistant and model you use.

AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors. It is not professional business, investment, legal, or tax advice, and must not be the sole basis for any decision. Verify it before relying on it. Report inaccuracies to navigate@apieceofmap.com.

6. Sources, removal, and intellectual property

6.1 Cited sources. To support the relationships it surfaces, the Service cites publicly available company information — press releases, newsroom publications, and other public sources. That content belongs to its owners, and we link to the original. Company names and logos are used for identification only. Surfacing a relationship does not imply endorsement.

6.2 Removal. Our /maps view displays previously collected public partnership data. Content owners and listed companies may request removal at navigate@apieceofmap.com or at galaxy.apieceofmap.com/bot. We act within 10 business days.

6.3 Our IP, and yours. The Service — its design, code, connector tools, and original content — is ours. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use it for your internal business purposes. What you submit stays yours, including your saved profile; you grant us a licence to use it only to provide the Service to you. We may use any feedback you provide without restriction.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; copy, modify, or reverse-engineer it; scrape it or systematically download its content; use its outputs to build a competing database or to train AI models; resell its outputs to non-subscribers; share credentials or circumvent limits; or use it to harass or defame anyone. Information obtained through the Service is for your internal business purposes.

8. Copyright

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, notify us at navigate@apieceofmap.com under Article 103 of the Korean Copyright Act (저작권법 제103조). Identify the copyrighted work, the infringing material and its URL, your contact details, and include a good-faith statement. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Disclaimers and liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that relationship data, sources, or AI outputs are complete, current, or error-free.

9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, or for reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service — whether to us or to our Merchant of Record — in the 12 months before the claim.

9.3 Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded by law. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected by this section.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of a third party's rights, or any content you submit.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation, and failing that by the courts of the Republic of Korea, with the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance. Where your local mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your country of residence, or to rely on the law of that country, those rights are preserved.

12. Changes, and general

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will post the update, refresh the effective date, and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign our rights and obligations under it.

This agreement is drafted in English. A Korean translation is provided for your convenience. Where the two differ, the English version governs the interpretation of this agreement — except that nothing in this clause limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
