Ask your first question
Once you're connected, your first question sets the tone. Here's how to ask so you get back a real, source-checked map — not just a quick guess.

Name your company, your goal, and who you're NOT after
Say who you are, what you're trying to do, and any disqualifiers up front — for example, "We sell fleet-tracking hardware; find logistics carriers in Southeast Asia we could partner with, but skip anyone already tied to a competitor." Vague questions drift; a clear objective keeps the answer on target.

Check that it actually ran
A real run shows a tool-use card and a relationship map in the answer — that's your confirmation it read live sources and checked each relationship. If you only see "Searched the web" with no card or map, the connector wasn't used.

If it didn't engage, nudge it
Ask again with: "Use the APiM Galaxy connector to verify each relationship." In ChatGPT, remember to pick APiM Galaxy from the + menu first, since it only runs when you choose it.
The more specific your objective and disqualifiers, the sharper the plan. "Who should we partner with?" gets a wide answer; "Which HR-software vendors could resell our payroll API in Germany, excluding our current partners?" gets a usable one.
