Connect in ChatGPT

Add APiM Galaxy to ChatGPT through developer mode, then pick it in any chat to map who a company works with.

Available on paid ChatGPT plans (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise) via developer mode — the Free plan doesn't include custom connectors.

  1. 1

Turn on developer mode: Settings → Security and login → Developer mode. Accept the ELEVATED RISK notice. If it is not there, search your settings for "Developer mode".

  2. 2

Open Plugins in the sidebar. Click + at the top right.

  3. 3

In the New Plugin dialog, set Name to APiM Galaxy. ChatGPT reuses this name on the sign-in screen. Set Connection to Server URL. Paste https://galaxy.apieceofmap.com/mcp including the https://. Leave Authentication on OAuth. Tick "I understand and want to continue" — Create stays greyed out until you do — then click Create.

  4. 4

Click Connect. Sign in once with Google or email.

  5. 5

In any chat, open +, pick APiM Galaxy, then ask. ChatGPT only runs the connector when you pick it — unlike Claude, it will not reach for it on its own.

One thing to remember: ChatGPT only runs the connector when you pick it from the + menu. Unlike Claude, it won't use it on its own — so if you want a source-checked answer, choose APiM Galaxy first.
